Privát Galfy is ideal starting point for getting to know the High Tatras. In the area of TANAP, there are approximately 600 km of marked trails, which will guide you towards the most interesting places in High Tatras. Hiking trails are going through valleys, allowing ascents to the tatra chalets, to some demanding and some less demanding tatras peaks as well as crossing through tatras saddlebacks. Tough sections are secured with the chains which help mainly in the situation of deterioration of weather.

During dates from 1. november until 15. june is approximately 230 km of marked trails closed. During these dates is allowed to visit all high tatras chalets except Chalet under Rysy.

Boating in Strbske Pleso has tradition older more than 120 years. After 30 years is boating in Strbske Pleso renewed again what is appreciated by all the lovers of beautiful nature of High Tatras.

Another summer activities and free time activities in High Tatras are tatrabob and paintball in Tatranska Lomnica, golf in Velka Lomnica. For those with more adventurous tastes can be paragliding, bungee jumping, super cars Stanley Rider, Mountain board, Summer tubing very interesting. Lots of experiences is promised by riding a horse or horse tandem. After a long, exhausting day you can relax in Aquacity Poprad

From December until May you have the option to ski in High Tatras on more than 200 km of slopes for more as well as less demanding skiers. Ski resorts can be found in Strbske Pleso, Novy Smokovec-Jakubkova luka, Taranska Lomnica- Jamy, Zdiar, Bachledova dolina, Liptovska Teplicka, Lucivna, or you can go with cable car to saddle back to Skalnate Pleso. Easier skiing is offered by ski-lift in Start-čučoriedky-area below Skalnate Pleso.
